How we handle your data

Who is responsible

What we keep when you sign up
- your email address
- when you signed up (the first and the latest time)
- whether the page was shown in Swedish or English
- that you signed up as a tester
- which version of the consent text you saw
We do not keep your IP address, your browser or where you came from.
Why
To invite you to the test and email you when BilVakten launches. We use the data for nothing else. We do not sell it or give it to anyone for their own purposes.
Legal basis
Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time: email [email protected] and we will remove you. Every email we send also has an unsubscribe link.
How long
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. At the latest 12 months after the app launches, we delete the list.
Where the data is
The list is kept by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, in a database that runs and is stored only in the EU. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf (processor). Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company; any transfer to the USA relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no ads and no scripts or fonts from anyone else. Like every website, Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical details of your visit to show the page and protect it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), Box 8114, 104 20 Stockholm, [email protected], imy.se.
